Gay Hawaii

Now that the excitement of gay civil unions is simmering down a little bit, we are wondering how much has a new law, permiiting gay civil unions, increased the amount of gay Hawaii travel on an overall basis.  As we approached 2012, there was a lot of national publicity saying that there would be increased amounts of gay Hawaii travel because of the law becoming effective on January 1, 2012.  A lot of hotels were running special promotions, combining them with packages with gay civil union ceremonies, particularly on the neighbor islands.  But since then, we haven’t heard too much about more gays travelling to Hawaii.  Can anyone out there give us an update?
